A Military wedding with Cascade mountain range backdrop Bend, Oregon

Jess & Noah are both active duty service members and their love story is powerful. This wedding was a reflection of all of the joy they pour into their loved ones. The highlights for me was when they threw formalities to the wind and went jumping on the trampoline and shortly after when the bride, air guitared on the ground to an awesome song! This wedding is also a beautiful example of the power of choosing to do a “first look” before their ceremony. They took the opportunity to feel their emotions thoroughly in private as well as praying for another and their marriage. In my humble opinion, tradition is beautiful but theres so much emotional freedom to be found in choosing an intimate first look.

Intimate, Fall wedding at St Francis Catholic Church In Bend, Oregon

It was such an honor to be invited in to capture Jacob & Maria’s ceremony. They are both active military members and what a gift it was to be witness to the love they have grown while both personally, stretching and growing themselves to serve our country.

The ceremony was extremely intimate as the only members invited were very immediate family. This truly amplified the love and authenticity that space was created for on their special day. Below is a small sampling of my favorite moments from their day, I was truly in awe of the joy between each family members.

Summertime, Barn wedding at Long Hollow Ranch in Sisters, Oregon

Zack & Erica were married in a beautiful, hidden barn venue, in the back roads of Sisters, Oregon. It was a perfect Central Oregon warm and sunny day. The venue is home to a gorgeous, renovated barn along with many other outbuildings, which they offer for pre wedding getting ready as well as post wedding night relaxation. The venue is bordered by two wide open fields of acres upon acres lush green grass. More information on this amazing venue can be found on their website: Long Hollow Ranch https://lhranch.com/

One of my favorite things as a photographer that Zack & Erica choose to do before their wedding was put together a thorough itinerary for the days events and also were sure to give this in printed from to several people, including myself so we could all work together to make the day running more smoothly for them.

Another big thing I was so happy to see at their wedding was when the day finally came they both made a conscious choice to truly enjoy their their special day and had a very “come what may” gracious attitude about each amazing moment.
